Biography

Brenda McDonald has appeared as soloist with the Gregg Smith Singers, Novi Cantori, Hampshire Choral Society, the Masterworks Chorale, and the Choral Arts Society of Worcester. She also performs regularly with Arcadia Players and Cathedral Music in Worcester. Operatic roles have included Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Mlle. Warblewell (The Impresario) and Adele (Die Fledermaus). She holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Syracuse University. In addition to teaching voice privately, Ms. McDonald has recently served as Director of the voice program at the Adirondack Festival of American Music. She is currently the Music Director at Trinity Episcopal Church in Shrewsbury, MA and also sings with the Schola Cantorum at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Worcester, MA and with the professional quartet at Temple Shalom in Newton, MA.
